We are a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, hopes and strength with each other to try to solve their common problem and help others to recover from drug addiction.
We recover through Alcoholics Anonymous "Big Book" and the Twelve Steps.
We can not enough express our gratitude to AA, who gave us the permission to adapt and
apply the 12 steps and 12 traditions.

DAA was founded in Sweden in 1997 and is the first 12-step fellowship that was founded outside the United States.
DAA has now grown and there are meetings in at least eight cities in Sweden with up to some 35 meetings a week. DAA is available in Norway, USA and England.
